FIELD NOTEBOOK
Hand-bound field notebook with cotton covers dyed with natural dyes from botanical printing in the SONMO workshop. The covers are independent of the inner booklet, so it can be replaced with a new one once completed.
Botanical printing is a technique that consists of placing plants in direct contact with the fabric to achieve a specific print. The fabrics are rolled and steamed, transferring the color and shape.
The flowers used are seasonal flowers planted, selected and collected, all of them coming from the farm's orchards. To obtain the two available tones, other plants have also been used: in one case, Rhamnus alaternus or aladierno, obtained from wild specimens from the forests of the estate and, in another, Quercus Ilex or holm oak, obtained from the caps of the acorns of trees from the forests of the estate.
The inner booklet is a Hahnemúhle sketchbook made of 120 gram Kraft paper, DIN A5. Contains 20 sheets. Dimensions: 14.8 x 21 cm.
Endpaper: Canson mi-teintes.
Warning: The printing of each product unit may vary slightly from what appears in the photo, the result of the artisanal process in the floral printing of the fabrics.
