THE TRAMUNTANA COASTLINE

The Serra de Tramuntana acts as the backbone of the island of Mallorca, extending along its north-east coast, from Andratx to Formentor.

Despite the overcrowding of other destinations, this landscape still preserves the tranquil charm of a bygone era, with countless secret coves and calas waiting to be discovered.

Its delicate balance between nature and human influence led UNESCO to declare it a World Heritage Site in the Cultural Landscape in 2011. The Serra de Tramuntana is a beacon of natural and cultural wealth, hosting a vast range of biodiversity and offering some of the most breathtaking vistas across the Mediterranean.

POSSIBLE ITINERARIES

Possible itineraries when departing from the port of Soller:

- Heading north from Soller you can anchor in Cala Tuent, where the pebble beach and the landscape of pines and olive trees contrast with the intense blue of the sea. From there you can sail towards the emblematic Sa Calobra, or explore the historic “Costera”, the first place in Mallorca where electricity was produced, over one hundred years ago.

- Starting in Soller and heading south you can stop at the mythical Cala Deià, a refuge for artists and writers for much of the last century, or you can reach La Foradada, famous for being a sheltered cove in almost any sea, and for its impressive, perforated rock. A little further south you can visit the tiny, picturesque village of S’Estaca or the fishing port of Valldemossa.

The Tramuntana coast is a natural and cultural treasure waiting to be discovered.
