GIVING LIFE TO AN ANCIENT RESOURCE
Sheep have always been intrinsically tied to the proper growth and care of the olive trees in the Tramuntana. Still today we raise them on our land so that they can maintain their important role in the preservation of our olive groves. Every year they provide us with their wool, a wonderful natural resource which we craft into beautiful pieces.
The wool blankets have been woven in our workshop on a loom that we have restored over the past two years and is now in full working order. This loom was made in Sabadell circa 1890, and it was part of an abandoned textile factory in the outskirts of Palma, which closed its doors in 1960.
