"LLUM" BAG

Each SONMO piece is crafted at Son Moragues using raw materials sourced from the estate itself and from other agricultural holdings in Mallorca.

The Llum bag is made entirely from Mallorcan Red Sheep wool. It is woven in our workshop using the Gregori Loom, a century‑old machine built in the early 20th century and restored after more than five decades of inactivity. Every bag is fully hand‑stitched, preserving an artisanal craft that defines the character of SONMO.

The wool of the Mallorcan Red Sheep, an endangered native breed, is the soul of this piece. Its fiber is strong and warm, and as a local resource, it helps reduce the carbon footprint while contributing to the conservation of a species closely tied to the island’s rural landscape.

This bag combines functional design with timeless aesthetics. It features a herringbone weave, a braided hemp‑rope handle, and wool fringes that elegantly frame its silhouette.
