A WALK TO THE REFUGE

Our walk begins at the entrance to the olive grove in the town of Valldemossa. It will take us through historical sites where you will find remains of the economic activity that took place in this region until the mid-20th century. On the way to the “Pla d'es Pouet” plateau we will see ruins of lime kilns and coal kilns as well as the “S'Abeurada” fountain whose purpose was to provide water to the people who lived and worked in the forest.

Throughout the tour you will discover the flora and fauna of the Tramuntana, its intrinsic value and the activities that we have developed to preserve this fragile environment.

On the way, we will rest at the famous “Ses Puntes” viewpoint before continuing our excursion to the Archduque Refuge at the top of the “Muntanya del Voltor” and contemplate the impressive 360-degree views from our Refuge.

After a delicious typical Mallorcan snack served with wine and made with products from our Estate, we will continue on our way back to our starting point.

THE VISIT INCLUDES:

• Visit of historical sites such as the “S'Abeurada” fountain and the “Pla d'es Pouet”.

• A delicious typical Mallorcan snack served with wine at the Archduke's Refuge.
• Meeting point in Valldemossa at the entrance to the olive grove on “Carrer Josep Coll Bardolet” street in front of the wooden door.

We recommend shoes adapted to mountain roads and appropriate clothing.
