Discover the art of olive oil tasting in our century-old olive grove. Learn all about organic olive oil production and what distinguishes an exceptional oil in this unique environment.

THE VISIT INCLUDES:

Guided walk through the olive grove.
Interactive tasting workshop.
Refreshment and tasting of Mallorcan olives and jams from Son Moragues with rustic bread and local cheese.

We recommend walking shoes and suitable outdoor attire.

This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn the keys to good oil from a leading producer in an exceptional environment. Among centuries-old olive trees you will see the regeneration work carried out since 2007 that has returned this environment to the splendor of bygone eras.

Our "tasting workshop" begins with an explanatory walk through the olive grove, one of the oldest and most impressive on the island, where you can learn about the history of our estate and the agricultural and social heritage of the Serra de Tramuntana. We will also explore the care techniques for our olive trees and the production process of our star product: Son Moragues extra virgin organic oil.

After completing the walk, it is time for the tasting and from the hand of our expert tasters you will be able to learn everything you need to know to taste a good oil. By comparing a range of oils, you will learn to taste and comment, differentiating good from bad attributes and delving into how to choose a good product, how to use it and how to enjoy it to the fullest.
